"Lilly's Eyes"

Inspiration and conception: This piece was inspired one day as I passed a flower stand. I was overwhelmed by the bountiful fragrance of the wondrous lily.
The scent lead me, and the beauty of the flower filled my eyes,
thus the name "lillys Eyes". The hidden face in the petal of the flower is like the secret personal experience we enjoy when the total essence of the bloom is consumed.
The bouquet of lillys was a wonderful addition to my studio and the fragrance a wonderful experience to the scenes as I painted this piece.
